Wednesday Season 2 Update Teased By Jenna Ortega mobilecinemanetwork.com, 20 August 2024 Wednesday Season 2’s episodes will be “much bigger,” Jenna Ortega says in an exciting update on filming. The Netflix series is based on The Addams Family and explores the titular character’s supernatural secrets when she attends Nevermore Academy, a boarding school for outcasts of the paranormal. Wednesday’s second season, which stars Ortega in the title character, is expected to bring back Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Victor Dorobantu, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Jamie McShane, and Fred Armisen. While promoting Beetlejuice in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ortega hinted at the “bigger” season 2 episodes of Wednesday. The actress indicated that they have “officially finished four episodes,” meaning season 2 is halfway completed. Check her entire response below: It’s nice to see everyone again but also we’re like knee-deep in that. We officially finished four episodes and everything is going well so far. We’re sticking to our roots but it’s become much bigger and a lot more fleshed out and characters have really incredible arcs and we have incredible set pieces and storylines. It just feels a lot more exciting from the jump. The only information available about Wednesday’s season 2 plot is that it will still center around Wednesday Addams’ supernatural investigations while she attends Nevermore Academy. The cast of Wednesday season 2 will be significantly larger than that of the first season. Joanna Lumley as Grandma Addams, Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort, Thandiwe Newton as Dr. Fairburn, and Billie Piper as Capri are a few of the new cast members. Haley Joel Osment, Christopher Lloyd, and Heather Matarazzo are also recent additions whose roles are still unknown. With a larger cast and a greater focus on the paranormal, Wednesday season 2 should have no problem meeting Ortega’s promise of “bigger” episodes. Source: Screenrant SERIES NEWS
